SO MUCH FUN!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Text Kills Announces Entertainment Personality Ryland Adams As Emcee For K-Jam Wild Hearts Concert

Adams Joins Five Talented Bands And An Impressive Roster Of Sponsors To Help Raise Awareness About Teen Issues

Mission Viejo, CA, February 19, 2013:Text Kills®, a teen safety outreach organization started by app development company Iconosys, Inc., announces today that entertainment personality Ryland Adams will serve as emcee for the K-JAM Wild Hearts concert February 23 at the Kaleidoscope Center. The announcement came during a live interview with Indie104FM. To listen to the interview click here.

The Text Kills K-KAM concert features Southern California favorites Crown Valley Parkway, Juice Box Bandits, False Puppet, Ugly Paint, and Later Days, who will be coming together to entertain the crowd and raise awareness about important issues affecting teens, particularly distracted driving and text-bullying. Adams will get the crowd pumped in between acts and will also announce the raffle winners for a Fender Starcaster guitar pack (including amplifier), two didgeridoos, and twenty sets of drumsticks, all donated by event sponsor Guitar Center of Lake Forest.

Ryland Adams, an entertainment personality from Los Angeles by way of Denver, Colorado, felt drawn to entertainment and pop culture from a very young age. Once he moved to Los Angeles, he unintentionally discovered a passion for hosting while pursuing a career in acting. After immersing himself in the talk show circuit, he became determined to start his own. What started with just an obsession, a webcam, and hours of convincing friends to help out resulted in his first web-show, GetTheFixx, which became a platform for interviewing bands, musicians, and artists.

But this only whetted Adams appetite; He went on to co-create and host InstaFixx, a show that discusses pictures that celebrities post on Instagram, Adams' personal favorite application. He has also covered carpet events, hosted concerts, and presented entertainment news for outlets such as Welcome2Cali, Hollywood Junket, HairbrushTV, and more.

"We are extremely excited to have Ryland participating in this event. We think he is a perfect match, and somebody that can help impress upon the youth in attendance the importance of the issues facing them today, such as texting and driving. In our experience, young people are really receptive to hearing positive messages from other young people," said Ryan Foland, Iconosys, Coo.

The Wild Hearts concert follows the success of last year's original K-JAM event, which was also at the Kaleidoscope. The K-JAM concert series was created by Text Kills to encourage youth community involvement through music by providing a positive environment that also educates them on the dangers of texting while driving and text-bullying. Text Kills believes that getting teens to carry this message to other teens increases its impact and reach, which is why teenage bands were chosen to perform. Attendees will also be encouraged to sign the Text Kills Tour Bus, making a pledge not to engage in texting while driving or text-bullying.

The event features many community sponsors, including Fan Apps ™, Iconosys, Inc., Bully Buster USA™, Pete's Music, OC WEEKLY, California Highway Patrol, Case Sandberg Photography, California Krav Maga, the Travel Orange County Visitor Guide, MasterDrive, Impact Teen Driving, and Monster Offers (OTCBB: MONT), Guitar Center, KX 93.5 FM Laguna Beach, and INDIE 104FM, who will broadcasting from the event live.

The event takes place on Saturday, February 23 from 6:30 P.M.-10:30 P.M at the Kaleidoscope Center in Mission Viejo, CA. Tickets cost $10 at the door, with limited VIP passes available for $20 that grant special stage viewing, an event poster signed by the bands, and a backstage pass. Doors open at 6 P.M. A portion of the event's proceeds will be donated to Text Kills to help fund their nationwide trek to put an end to distracted driving and make the roads safer for everybody.

Tickets can be purchased at the Kaleidoscope and at www.kjamconcert.eventbrite.com
